Have you ever heard someone say that they went on Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem, Weight Watchers and within weeks they reversed Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Depression, Anxiety, Chronic Fatigue or arthritis. You haven't because it never happened. After spending over a decade in the Corporate Wellness and Disease Management industries, they haven't achieved it either. But things are starting to change.
There is so much missing from our medical literature that isn't taught to doctors, dieticians, nurses or nutritionists. If they had this knowledge, that anyone can look up we wouldn't have the health crises that we are now experiencing.
At My Metabolic Life Coaching, we believe health is based on achieving and maintaining a healthy metabolism. This is accomplished by understanding the ramifications of the real food and food like substances that we put in our mouths. We are either feeding health or feeding disease. Looking around you can see that most of us are feeding disease.
We offer personalized coaching to help you achieve your health goals, regardless of your current metabolic health status. There is a path back to health.
A customized approach based on your current health status and eating preferences will allow you to regain your metabolism and health. Some people who were not open to certain foods or styles of eating over time realize that they may have been living for years with incorrect and harmful notions. Sometimes, tweaking our initial mindset opens up avenues to success. Everyone's journey is a little different.
Some clients find that their initial plan might require some time for the body to heal before they can implement certain food strategies. Again, we arrived here on different journeys, resulting in different starting places.
I have assisted two clients who could never feel full even though they ate all the time. One ate foods considered healthy, and the other mainly ate junk food. They both complained of decades of constantly feeling hungry. As strange as it sounds, the solution for both was the same.
Your plan will be crafted based on Metabolic Therapy strategies. Applying these strategies allows me to customize a plan regardless of food preferences.
There is much confusion about diets. Do you need to be a Vegan, a Carnivore, or somewhere in between? Typically, the answer is somewhere in between. Understanding the pluses and minuses of all approaches provides comprehensive understanding and guidance.

Either way, you are in the right place. Metabolic Therapy has been demonstrated to allow the body to heal from many conditions. When I was first introduced to the concept in 2018, I thought it was Snake Oil.
For decades, we were all taught that conditions like Hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease, Bipolar, Depression, and more were chronic and progressive. It would be great if there were one magic pill or plan for everyone to follow. However, we all start in different places, with different metabolic health, priorities regarding foods we accept, and goals. Individual plans are the only way to get an individual from their starting point to metabolic health.
Before working with anyone I require an hour long free consultation. I need to understand where your current metabolic health is. I need to understand any prescriptions that you are on. (see blog - Avoid Becoming Overprescribed When Implementing Metabolic Therapy) If you are currently taking medications, we will have to implement a plan to make sure that as your body heals you don't rapidly become over prescribed.
Strategies may need to be developed beyond understanding what and how often to eat. Other methods might have to be crafted regarding those you may live with. They may not have the same health concerns or relationship with food. Do you travel for work? Friends and relatives may not be supportive. We will create strategies around all of these obstacles.
Humans are very tribal and community-based. Suddenly, when you decide to do something different than a friend or relative, sometimes people feel like you are indirectly attacking how they live. Social dynamics will exist; you will need to have a plan.
Once I learn about you and answer your questions, you can decide which plan level best suits you and your budget.
You start by purchasing 2-hour or 4-hour blocks of time. You receive a 10% discount for purchasing a 4-hour block. Based on your needs and current knowledge level, you could spread out a 4-hour block over eight to ten weeks or longer.
Some clients suffer from brain fog, so early on, they require more coaching than those who are currently better able to process the written word.
Some clients are on a spectrum of sugar and food addictions and require more of a 24/7 access. I find that well over 50% of clients suffer from one of the following eating habits or patterns:

A quick warning: Some people who show up here have vast health knowledge and expertise. I actively try to assist medical professionals in understanding where holes exist in their medical training, so some of my content tends to overwhelm some people just beginning their health journeys. So don't worry if much of this content feels over your head. It isn't all meant for everybody. It is very interesting how much many of my clients already know but still find my guidance beneficial. Many have had a long journey of feeling abandoned by mainstream medicine. It has made them very savvy, and sometimes just looking for that last bit of knowledge to make all the difference.
